Christening Centerpiece Show and Tell

Sharing a Christening Centerpiece I did using the MAMBI Babtism Kit from Me and My Big Ideas.

This altered tin was very easy to construct using the embellisments and paper that came in this kit. It really is a great value for sure. I had enough paper and other embellisments left over that I could also do a few layouts, thank you cards, or even a min album.

This is Grady when he was baptized...what a sweet little boy.  And to think he is 10 now....WOW!

I made some grass for the tin buy cutting strips of paper and curling it like you would to curling ribbon.  I then added in some pieces of twine to bring in the brown tones.

Inking around the flowers made them pop.  The sticks are floral wire I got at Ms.  At the bottom of the tin, under the grass, is a block of floral foam.  It works great to hold things in place.

A shot of the tin wrapped in paper and twine.

The chipboard embellishments are so fun in this set....and again there are so many of them.

Got to run...the gym is calling.  Need to go get my butt kicked before I do anything else today.

WATCH for my next post about my upcoming Kids Valentine's Class.  I will be offering it in February in my studio.
